We will be talking about Kaipan!? with one of our students, Saya.

Saya: Is studying Japanese difficult?

Warren: Of course! Kanji is very difficult to study, but for me vocabulary is the hardest. I always make mistakes.

Saya: Have you ever made any funny or embarrassing mistakes?

Warren: All the time! For example, when I first came to Japan I wanted to say "Kanpai" at a party but I accidentally said "Kaipan"!

Saya: Hahahaha,　poor Warren!

ウォーレン： もちろん！漢字を勉強するのがとても難しいね。でも僕には、語彙が一番大変かな。いつも間違えるんだよ。

サヤ： これまでに何か面白い間違いか、恥ずかしい間違いってしたことある？

ウォーレン： いつもだよ！例えば、日本に初めて来た時、飲み会で「乾杯」って言いたかったんだけど、思わず「海パン！」って言ったんだ。

サヤ： はっはっは、可哀相なウォーレン！
