Naoyuki: Robbie, I heard Vancouver was voted the world's most livable city again this year. What do you think?

Robbie: It surprises me a little.

Naoyuki: What's that?

Robbie: Well, it's a beautiful city. No doubt. But it has its drawbacks.

Naoyuki: For example?

Robbie: It rains nearly all Autumn and Winter and it's very chilly. There is a lot of property crime and all the shops and many restaurants close at 10 pm. There's not much night life.

Naoyuki: What do people do at night?

Robbie: I don't know because I'm usually home with friends eating and drinking! Hmmm.

ロビー： ちょっとびっくりだね。

ナオユキ： 何で？

ロビー： うん、きれいな町だよね。疑いなく。でも欠点もあるよ。

ナオユキ： 例えば？

ロビー： 秋と冬はたいがい雨降ってるし、とても寒いんだよね。窃盗事件もたくさんあるし、すべてのお店やレストランは午後10時に閉まっちゃうんだよ。夜遊びできないんだよ。

ナオユキ： みんな夜は何やっているの？

ロビー： 分からないなー。だって僕はたいてい友達と家で食べて飲んでるからね！ふっふっふ。
