交通渋滞

We will be talking about traffic congestion.


Naoyuki: Golden Week holidays have started, but we will have horrible traffic congestion at the end. Have you ever experienced any traffic congestion?

Caroline: Yes, all the time in Kenya and elsewhere. We call it a traffic jam too. It is so terrible during rush hour in the city areas.

Naoyuki: In my case it was 30 to 40 km long on the expressway on my way back to Tokyo during Golden Week holidays and it was really terrible.

Caroline: Thank you so much for telling me that you experienced it during Golden Week. I will stay home !

今日は交通渋滞について話します。

ナオユキ： ゴールデンウィークが始まったけど、最後には恐ろしい交通渋滞になるんだよ。君は交通渋滞経験したことある？

カロライン： ええ、ケニヤでもその他のところでもいつもね。traffic jam とも言うわ。都市のラッシュアワーの時間帯はひどいわよ。

ナオユキ： 僕の場合は、ゴールデンウィークの時に、東京に戻ってくる途中で高速道路で30～40キロの長さだったよ。本当にひどかった。

カロライン： ゴールデンウィーク中に交通渋滞にあったって教えてくれてどうもありがとう。私は家に留まるわ！
