There are many slang words used in English. Can you guess the meaning of these slang words?


Today's slang words are



zip it :  Could you please zip it! I'm trying to watch TV.
buck up : I told him to  buck up because tomorrow is a new day.

settle down
:  Our teacher told us to settle down or he was going to get angry.

step out :  At work I often step out for some fresh air and a snack at around 3 pm.






Meaning.



zip it = shut your mouth

buck up = cheer up 

settle down = relax / calm down

step out = leave your place of work / home and go outside
