イベント報告：パブナイト

This post is about Pub Night held on August 31st.

We had the Pub Night at Tonsho, an Izakaya restaurant in Ichigao. In March we also had a party there and enjoyed their food and drinks. So this time we decided to go there again.

Do you know how to explain the name Tonsho in English? "Ton" means "pork" and "sho" means "specialist", so in English we could explain "Tonsho" as "a specialist in pork dishes". We tried a few of them ourselves. Yummy!!!

10 people joined the gathering in the evening of that hot summer day. At first everybody felt a little shy, but we soon received our drinks and the party could finally start!

One hour after the party has started, teachers Tina and Kevin switched places, so everybody could have a chance to talk to both of them. Everybody did their best speaking English!

8月31日に行われた、「パブナイト」 のご報告をします。

市ヶ尾の居酒屋、豚匠でパブナイト（飲み会）を開きました。3月にもそこでパーティーを開き、食べ物や飲み物を楽しむことができたので、今回もそこに行くことに決めました。

豚匠の英語での説明の仕方を知っていますか？豚は「pork」を意味し、匠は、「specialist」を意味するので、英語だと、「a specialist in pork dishes」と説明できます。私たちもその中からいくつか食べました。おいしい!!!

10人が暑い夏の夜の会に参加しました。最初は、少し恥ずかしそうでしたが、飲み物がすぐに来て、ついにパーティーの開始です！

 パーティー開始1時間後、ケヴィン先生とティナ先生が、全員と話せるように席替えをしました。そして、皆さん一生懸命英語を話しました！
