外国人が日本で困ること

We will be talking about problems that foreign people have in Japan.


Naoyuki: Have you ever had any problems since you came to Japan?

Caroline: Of course I have. I have had all kinds of problems. The biggest of them all is the LANGUAGE !! It is just impossible to master the Japanese language. Other problems are so-so and somehow I manage to solve them. For example, Japanese food, culture and the fast-paced life.

Naoyuki: Haha, do you have any story caused by your lack of Japanese ability?

Caroline: Yes, so many. One of the first encounters was when I first went shopping. I bought a lot of wrong items. Soy sauce instead of oil, salt instead of sugar and so on.

Naoyuki: Poor Caroline, but now you don't need to worry about it because your Japanese has improved quite a lot!

今日は外国人が日本で困ることについて話します。

ナオユキ： 日本に来てから何か困った事ってあった？

カロライン： もちろんあったわよ。あらゆる問題が起きたわ。それらすべてのうち一番大変なのは、言葉よ！！日本語をマスターするのはもう不可能よ。他の問題はまあまあね、何とか解決することができる。例えば、日本の食べ物、文化、早いペースの生活とかわね。

ナオユキ： はっはっ。日本語の能力が低いことが原因で起こった話ってある？

カロライン： ええ、たくさん。最初に起きたことの１つは、初めて買い物に行った時だったの。たくさんの間違ったものを買ってしまって。油の代わりに醤油、砂糖の代わりに塩、などなど。

ナオユキ： 可哀相なカロライン。でも今は心配する必要は無いね。君の日本語はかなり上達したからね！
