寒さ

Naoyuki: It's getting cold recently, isn't it? I started wearing my coat.

Juliana: Well, its hard to resist the cold, especially at this very moment. I had to arm myself against the cold by putting away my summer clothes and replacing them with winter wear.

Naoyuki: Yeah, I have heard temperatures are rising every year because of global warming, but it's still cold. We may not feel global warming, since it's coming gradually.

Juliana: The global warming effects might be felt by a few generations to come. It`s quite unfortunate that many people don`t like the cold, but I prefer freezing anytime rather than feeling hot.

Naoyuki: Right. I agree with you, but I'm afraid summer will be hotter in the near future...

今日は寒さについて話します。

ナオユキ： 最近寒くなって来たね。僕はコートを着だしたよ。

ジュリアナ： ええ、寒さに対抗するのは大変よね。特にこの時期は。私は夏用の服をしまって、冬用の服に替えることで、寒さから身を守らなければならなかったわ。

ナオユキ： うん。温暖化のせいで気温が毎年上がっているって聞いたけど、まだ寒いね。温暖化って徐々に来ているから、僕らはあまり感じないのかもね。

ジュリアナ： 温暖化の影響は、2，3世代で感じるんじゃないかしら。すごく不運だけど、多くの人は寒さ嫌いよね。でも私は暑いよりは、凍える方が好きだわ。
