こたつ

Naoyuki: The kotatsu season has arrived again. Do you know the "Kotatsu"?

Juliana: I just learned what its called today. I have used it before but I was unaware of the Japanese name.

Naoyuki: The cold weather makes me want to stay at home snuggling under the kotatsu. Then I watch TV and eat some mandarin oranges. That's a Japanese custom.

Juliana: That‘s interesting. I would also like to do the same at home.

Naoyuki: I think you will get addicted.

今日はこたつについて話します。

ナオユキ： こたつのシーズンがまた来ました。「こたつ」って知ってる？

ジュリアナ： 今日それが何て呼ばれるか知ったわ。前に使ったことあるけど、日本の名前は知らなかったの。

ナオユキ： 寒い季節は、家にこもってこたつで丸まっているに限るね。それから、テレビを見て、みかんを食べてと。それが日本の習慣だよ。

ジュリアナ： おもしろいわねー。私も家で同じことやってみたい。
