Naoyuki: You and I have the master's degree from Japanese universities. Why did you choose a Japanese school?

Juliana: Well... I have always liked challenges. Plato once said, the more you know, the more you realize that you don‘t know. Being in Japan alone is a challenge. The language and the culture are enough challenges for many. As for me, a master‘s degree in Japan crowns all the challenges.

Naoyuki: Sounds great! You must made a courageous decision at that time. How was the school life?


Juliana:I treasure every moment I had while in Ritsumeikan in Beppu. I learned new study techniques and at the same time I was impressed by the Japanese culture and language.

今日は大学院について話します。

ナオユキ： 僕もジュリアナも日本の大学の修士号を持っているけど、なんで日本の学校を選んだの？

ジュリアナ： うーん、私はいつもチャレンジすることが好きなの。プラトンはかつて言ったわ、あなたが知れば知るほど、自分が知らないことに気づくって。日本に一人でいることはチャレンジなの。言葉や言語も多くの人にとって十分にチャレンジだわ。私にとって、日本での修士号はチャレンジの中の最高峰なの。

ナオユキ： すごーい！きっと勇敢な決断をしたんだね、その時に。学校生活はどうだった？

ジュリアナ： 私は別府の立命館にいた時に経験したすべての瞬間を大事にしているわ。私は新しい勉強の方法も学んだし、同時に日本の文化と言語に感銘を受けたの。

ナオユキ： 君は日本通に違いない。
