食べ放題

We will be talking about the all-you-can-eat buffet.

Naoyuki: Have you ever tried the all-you-can-eat buffet?

Caroline: Of course ! It is a common thing in Japan. I think it's a good deal because you get to have a balanced diet for a fair price. Whenever I go for a buffet I have the intention to eat as much as I can but that never happens. If I see too much food at once I lose my appetite.

Naoyuki: Oh, that's too bad. I always eat as much as I can but after that I get fat... So which kind of buffet do you like, cakes, sushi, or yakiniku?

Caroline: My favorite buffet is Yakiniku, followed by sushi. I don’t like cakes or sweets so I hardly go for cake/sweets buffet.

Naoyuki: Wow, you don't like cakes. That's amazing. So please give me cakes or sweets whenever you get them from someone.

今日は食べ放題について話します。

ナオユキ： 食べ放題に行ったことある？

カロライン： もちろん！日本では普通のことよ。私、適正な料金でバランスのとれた食事を取れるから、食べ放題はお得だと思うわ。食べ放題に行くときはいつでも、できるだけ食べようと思っているんだけど、一度も食べれたことないの。たくさんの食べ物を一度に見ると食欲が無くなっちゃうのよね。

ナオユキ： へー、それはお気の毒に。僕はいつもできるだけたくさん食べるけど、その後太るね。。。じゃー、どんな食べ放題が好き？ケーキ、寿司それとも焼肉？

カロライン： 私のお気に入りは焼肉で、その次が寿司ね。私、ケーキとか甘いものは好きじゃないから、ケーキや甘いものの食べ放題はほとんど行かないわ。

ナオユキ： えー、ケーキ好きじゃないの。驚きだよ。じゃあ、誰かからケーキや甘いものもらったら、僕に頂戴。
