カシャタ

We will be talking about kashata.

Caroline: Since you liked the coconut rice, I bet you would love coconut snacks too. We have a snack called kashata and it is very yummy.

Naoyuki: Right, I liked rice and peas. How does kashata taste like?

Caroline: Kashata is yummy. It is like a cookie. It is made of grated coconut, sugar, cinamon or cardamon.

Naoyuki: Sounds good. Is it difficult to make?

Caroline: No, it is very easy to make. It needs only three ingredients and it takes one minute to cook on the stove but including preparation it takes a total of thirty minutes. Why don't we try it in our next "Cooking in English" lesson?

今日はカシャタについて話します。

カロライン： あなたココナッツご飯好きだったから、きっとココナッツのお菓子も大好きね。カシャタっていうお菓子があって、とてもおいしいのよ。

ナオユキ： うん、「ライスアンドピース」は好きだったね。カシャタはどんな味なの？

カロライン： カシャタはおいしくて、クッキーみたい。すりおろしたココナッツと砂糖、シナモン又はカルダモンから作られているのよ。

ナオユキ： いいねー。作るのは難しいの？

カロライン： いいえ、作るのはとても簡単よ。３つの材料だけだから、コンロで調理するのに１分ね。でも、準備を入れると合計で３０分かかるわ。次の「クッキングインイングリッシュ」レッスンでやってみましょう？
