夏休み

We will be talking about summer vacation.

Caroline: I am so happy my summer vacation starts this weekend. I am free like a bird !!!

Naoyuki: Oh, I envy you. Do you have any plan for your vacation?

Caroline: No, I really don't have any concrete plan. I want it to be flexible so that I can enjoy it. However I have a lot of 'nomikais' on the first week because most of my friends are going out of the country.

Naoyuki: Why don't you go abroad?

Caroline: For so many reasons. One; I am broke!!! Two; I prefer travelling in winter. Three; Summer is more fun in Japan since there are so many barbecue parties at the beach and summer festivals(Matsuri).

今日は夏休みについて話します。


カロライン： 今週末から夏休みが始まるってとても幸せ。私は鳥のように自由だわ。

ナオユキ： へー、羨ましい。休みの計画はあるの？

カロライン： いいえ、実際のところ具体的な予定はないの。融通が利きやすいようにしておきたいわね、楽しめるように。でも友達のほとんどが海外に行くせいで、第１週目はたくさん飲み会があるのよ。

ナオユキ： 海外に行けば？

カロライン： たくさん理由があるのよ。１つ目：お金がない!!! ２つ目：冬に旅行するほうが好き。３つ目：日本の夏は、海でたくさんのバーベキューパーティーがあるし、夏祭りもたくさんあるし、より楽しいのよね。
