がっかりした経験

We will be talking about disappointing experiences with one of our students, Noriko.

Warren: How was your trip to France?

Noriko: Kind of disappointing...

Warren: Oh...how come?

Noriko: Well, the reason I went was to see the French singer Stephanie D' Oustrac perform. I went all the way to a town 3 hours outside of Lyon to see her. But she didn't show up.

Warren: What a drag!

Noriko: Yeah, it was the second time that's happened to me! She also cancelled a performance in Amsterdam that I went all the way to see!

ウォーレン： フランスへの旅行どうだった？

ノリコ： ちょっとがっかりしちゃったわー。。。

ウォーレン： へー、、、どうして？

ノリコ： えー、私がフランスに行ったのは、フランスの歌手ステファニー・ドゥストラックが演じるのを見るためだったの。彼女を見るために、リヨンから３時間も離れた町にわざわざ行ったんだけど、彼女は現れなかったわ。

ウォーレン： 最悪じゃん！

ノリコ： そうなの、 私それ２回目なの！私がわざわざアムステルダムまで見に行った公演も、彼女キャンセルしたの！
