日本のファストフード店

We will be talking about Japanese fast food restaurants today.

Frankie: Sometimes I get so frustrated at restaurants in Japan. A lot of times they refuse to make small changes in your order.

Naoyuki: For example?

Frankie: The other day I was at Freshness Burger, and I asked for a Vegetable Beans Burger with cheese on it. They told me "Sorry, we can't put cheese on it".


Naoyuki: Well, why didn't you just order a cheeseburger?

Frankie: I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat beef.

Naoyuki: Oh, I see. Did you offer to pay extra for the piece of cheese?

Frankie: Yes, I did, but they still said it was "impossible"! I was so angry!!

Naoyuki: Maybe you could order a cheeseburger too, but tell them hold the beef and bun. Then take the slice of cheese and put it on your Vegetable Beans Burger!

Frankie: Very funny!

今日は日本のファストフード店について話します。

フランキー： 時々日本のレストランで欲求不満になるんだよ。注文を少しだけ変えてもらうのを何回も断られたからね。

ナオユキ： 例えば？

フランキー： この前、フレッシュネスバーガーで、ベジタブルビーンズバーガーにチーズを乗せてもらうように頼んだんだけど、彼らは僕に、「すみません。チーズを乗せることはできません。」って言ったんだ。

ナオユキ： うん、何でただチーズバーガーを注文しなかったの？

フランキー： 僕は菜食主義者だから、肉は食べないんだよ。

ナオユキ： あー、そうか。チーズの分だけ余分にお金を払うって言ってみた？

フランキー： うん、言ったよ。でも、まだ「できません」！って言ったから、本当頭にきたね。

ナオユキ： 多分チーズバーガーも頼めたんじゃない、ただし、肉とパン抜きって言ってさ。それからチーズ１枚を君のベジタブルビーンズバーガーに乗せるんだよ！

フランキー： とーっても面白い！
