おにぎり

We will be talking about rice balls.


Naoyuki: A rice ball is a food made from white rice formed into triangular or oval shape and often wrapped in edible seaweed. It is filled with pickled ume or other ingredients. Do you eat rice balls?

Juliana: Off course, I think this is one of the best inventions. It saves time in addition to providing nutrients.

Naoyuki: Yes, once when I was very busy, I bought rice balls at a convenience store on my way to a station. Then I ate them before arriving at the station. It was a hard time. Which rice ball do you like?

Juliana: I like tuna-mayo, but I really don't have a problem eating any rice ball. What's your favorite rice ball? How do you like your rice ball? Cold or hot?

Naoyuki: I like ume or tuna-mayo. Cold or hot? I don't care.

今日はおにぎりについて話します。

ナオユキ： おにぎりは、白米から出来ている食べ物で、三角形か楕円の形をしているんだ。大抵、のりで包まれているよ。塩漬けの梅や他の材料が入っている。おにぎりは食べる？

ジュリアナ： もちろんよー、私これは最高の発明品の１つだと思うわ。栄養を摂れるし、時間の節約にもなるしね。

ナオユキ： うん、一度とても忙しいとき、おにぎりを駅に行く途中にコンビニで買って、それから駅に着くまでに食べたけどね。大変だった。どのおにぎりが好き？

ジュリアナ： 私はツナマヨが好きねー、でも本当どのおにぎりでも大丈夫よ。どのおにぎりが好き？おにぎりはどんなのが好き？冷たいの温かいの？

ナオユキ： 僕は梅かツナマヨかな。冷たいか温かいか？気にしない。
