Naoyuki: Have you ever played pachinko?

David: Only once. I lost about 2,000 yen in five minutes, and gave up. It's hard to know what to do. Do you often play pachinko?

Naoyuki: I used to go quite a lot before I left my parent's place. But in the interests of my wallet, I've stopped going lately.

David: Did you used to win a lot of money?

Naoyuki: I sometimes won, but I think I lost more than I won. You probably didn't get a three-of-a-kind, but when you do and the balls come flying out, it feels really good. If you experience that, you'll be addicted.

David: I used to know a girl who was so good at pachinko, all the pachinko parlour owners in Chigasaki knew her, and wouldn't let her come into their shops anymore. Maybe she could have been a pachinko pro...

今日はパチンコについて話します。

ナオユキ： これまでにパチンコってやったことある？

デーヴィッド： １回だけ。５分で２，０００円なくなって、あきらめた。どうすれば良いのか分らないんだよね。パチンコはよくするの？

ナオユキ： 親の家を出る前は、結構よくやっていたね。でも、最近は節約のため、行くのは止めているよ。

デーヴィッド： 勝ってたの？

ナオユキ： 時々勝ってたけど、勝ちより負けのほうが多かったと思うね。君は多分数字が３つ揃わなかったんだろうけど、揃って、玉がどんどん出てくるときは、すごーく良い気分だよ。もしそれを経験したら、はまるんじゃないかなー。

デーヴィッド： 僕パチンコが得意だった女の子知ってたけど、茅ヶ崎にあるパチンコ屋のオーナー全員が彼女のことを知っていて、もう彼女を店に入れさせなかったんだ。多分彼女、パチプロだったのでは。。。
