We will be talking about Dorayaki.


Naoyuki: I went to my home town and was given some Dorayaki. Do you want some?

David: Did you secretly put natto in it?

Naoyuki: No, of course not! But it's not ordinary bean paste. It has some cherry blossom put in it, so it might smell of plums which you don't like.


David: Okay, I'll give it a try. Mmm, tastes good. Why is it called Dorayaki?

Naoyuki: Doraemon likes it, so maybe that's why.

David: Are you sure it's not the other way round...?

デーヴィッド： 内緒で中に納豆入れた？

ナオユキ： 入れてないって。でも普通のあんこじゃないよ。桜が中に入っているんだ。だから君の嫌いな梅の香りがするかもね。

デーヴィッド： 了解。ちょっと食べてみる。うーん、おいしいよ。何でどら焼きって言うの？

ナオユキ： ドラえもんが好きだからじゃないの。

デーヴィッド： 本当に？逆じゃないそれ？
