We will be talking about Kyoto.

Ginkaku-ji

Naoyuki: So aside from Wakayama and Kanagawa, have you lived anywhere else in Japan?

Warren:  Yes, I actually lived in Kyoto as well for one year.

Naoyuki: Ehhh? Where in Kyoto did you live?

Warren:  I lived near the Imperial Palace in Kyoto. I was also within walking distance of Ginkaku-ji, Sanjo street, and the Kamogawa river.

Naoyuki: Wow!

Warren:  It was great. So many temples, so much culture and history. I really miss living there. Have you ever been?
 

Naoyuki: Just a couple of times, when I was a student.

Warren: Do you have any desire to visit again?

Naoyuki: Some, but I'm more interested in going abroad and experiencing a different country's culture.

Warren: Well, it's a good thing you can speak English!

ナオユキ： それじゃあ、和歌山と神奈川を除いて、日本のどこか別のところに住んでいたことはある？

ウォーレン： うん、実際京都にも同じように１年間住んでいたよ。

ナオユキ： ええっ？京都のどこに住んでいたの？

ウォーレン： 京都御所の近くに住んでいたよ。銀閣寺や三条通り、鴨川にも歩いて行けたんだ。

ナオユキ： おー！

ウォーレン： すごく良かったよ。とてもたくさんのお寺があり、文化や歴史もたくさん味わえるしね。本当そこに住めないのが寂しいよ。君は行ったことある？

ナオユキ： 学生の時に、数回だけね。

ウォーレン： また、訪れたいと思う？

ナオユキ： そうだね、でも、海外に行って、別の国の文化に触れることのほうが興味があるな。

ウォーレン： うん、それは良いことだよ。英語話せるからね！
