外国人はTOEIC何点？

We will be talking about how many points native speakers are likely to get on the TOEIC test.

Frankie: How did you do on the TOEIC test in October? 

Naoyuki: I did pretty well -- I got 975 points. My listening score was perfect, but my reading score was 480. I'm kind of disappointed, though, because I was hoping to get perfect this time.

Frankie: I see... is it really that hard?

Naoyuki: Why don't you take a practice test and see for yourself?

Frankie: Ha! I could probably take that test in my sleep!!



[Two hours pass]



Naoyuki: OK, here are the results. Actually, they're similar to mine. You missed two in the listening section (one in part 3, and one in part 4) and one in the reading section (part 5).

Frankie: What?! How could that be?? I'm a native speaker! I want to try it again tomorrow.

今日はネイティブスピーカーがTOEICで何点取れるかについて話します。

フランキー： １０月のTOEICはどうだった？

ナオユキ： かなり頑張ったよ。９７５点取った。リスニングの得点は満点だったけど、リーディングは４８０点だった。まあ、今回満点を狙っていたから、ちょっと残念だったけどね。

フランキー： なるほど、、、それってそんなに大変なの？

ナオユキ： 練習テスト受けて、自分の見てみれば？

フランキー： ふんっ！多分寝てる間にできちゃうよ！！

[２時間経過]

ナオユキ： はい、これが結果です。実際、僕のと近いね。君は、リスニングセクションで２問（パート３で１問、パート４で１問）間違って、リーディングセクションで１問（パート５）間違えたね。

フランキー： え？なんでそうなるの？？僕、ネイティブスピーカーだよ！また明日受けたい。
